Karen is one of 12 sisters that all really love their brother, Wataru. Karen was born September 23. She's very sweet and has a gentle temperament. She's down to earth and a hard worker, always striving for perfection. She is also an accomplished pianist.
In the anime, Karen is the first to meet Wataru when she rescues him from drowning in the ocean when he first arrives to his new home.
Sister Princess was originally published in Dengeki G's magazine in March 1999. The series eventually went on to become an anime and Playstation game. The artwork from the manga was drawn by Naoto Tenhiro. The voice actress for Karen is Natsuko Kuwatani.
